Sheen Stems (The Original Duty Stem)
Designed in the 1980s, the Sheen stem is a heavy-duty solution made from zinc-galvanised steel and black powder-coated for maximum durability.
- Used by: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and leading international botanic gardens.
- Standard Sizes: Available for 75mm (D) labels with 40cm stems, and 55mm (D) labels with 20cm stems.
Haslemere Stems (Elegant & Discreet)
Our most popular design, the Haslemere features an elegant pencil shaft made from aircraft-grade aluminium. Powder-coated in black, it offers a discreet presence within flower beds and displays.
Stock Sizes: Available in multiple heights (24cm to 50cm) to accept 50mm and 75mm (D) labels.
Used by: RBG Wakehurst, the National Trust, and Chelsea Flower Show exhibitors.
Ballinluig Stems (Secure One-Piece Design)
Developed for high-security and tough environments, the Ballinluig is a one-piece stainless steel stem and backplate. Labels are pre-attached in our workshop using specialist aluminium rivets.
Standard Size: 75mm x 100mm label on a 400mm stem.
Features: A “replace and renew” service is available for this design.
Milford Stems (Interchangeable & Heavy Duty)
Designed for specimen labelling and plaques, the Milford system uses discreet stainless steel security screws, allowing labels to be interchanged.
Sizes: Supports labels from 50x75mm up to 150x200mm.
Construction: Available in 4mm mild or stainless steel with a full label backplate.
Public Realm Security: All sizes feature an integrated hole at the base for an anchor boot, ideal for public parks and high-traffic areas.
DAR Stems (Display & Exhibition)
Designed in collaboration with David Austin Roses Ltd for their Albrighton display gardens.
Height Options: Available in professional display heights of 0.75m, 1m, and 1.25m.
Key Feature: Includes an integrated footplate for easy and secure insertion into the ground.
